»Collaboration & Modern Workplace« and »Cloud Technology & Data Analytics« expand fme Portfolio

Since January 1, 2023, fme AG has been offering its customers an expanded portfolio with the business units »Collaboration & Modern Workplace« and »Cloud Technology & Data Analytics« in order to increasingly support small and medium-sized companys as well as corporations in these focus areas with a broader range of services to meet the challenges of digital transformation. The new business units will be managed by Dennis Gräff and Tobias Stein as business unit directors. We are delighted that we have been able to recruit experienced colleagues with many years of experience for the new positions.

Our experience of nearly two decades has been incorporated into our services portfolio for Microsoft SharePoint.

Due to the pandemic, many companies quickly transitioned office work to remote using Microsoft’s readily available tools. We helped our customers implement the tools, customize them to their needs, transform their processes, and use them efficiently and effectively. With our experience in ECM, SharePoint, communications services and project management, we have identified the needs of the market and will address these more strongly in the future with the new business unit »Collaboration & Modern Workplace«.

In the area of Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics, we rely on a strong partnership with Qlik. »Qlik values our expertise around their products, especially in cloud topics. In more and more projects, access to data in the cloud and cloud services such as machine learning play an essential role. Data engineering and data science are now based almost exclusively on cloud services. They use the sometimes large volumes of data in companies, enrich them with freely or commercially available data from external service providers and create new insights for our customers with the help of algorithms«, Daniel Pelke continues.
